Sir/Madam,
I am working as Junior Engineer (Work Shop) in Civil Engineering Department with 14 years of service. Basically my qualification is BE (Mechanical). Due to minimal strength of cadre in my zone and also due to wind up of the workshop, administration is planning to merge with some other cadre of Engineering department (i.e Bridge or Track machine etc.,). But I am not interested to merge my post with some other cadre of Engineering Department. I am interested to go for any Mechanical department workshop for my better future prospects like SSE post or to attend 30% Group ‘B’ exam as basically I am belongs to Mechanical degree. Is it possible to transfer from Civil Engineering department to Mechanical Department or not. I request your good self to Kindly advice me which is the best way or If you have any other suggestions to develop my career please tell me.
