I am appointed as an Assistant Loco Pilot in 2006, now I am promoted as senior ALP with grade pay 2400. Now may I eligible for all three third AC pass, since I am a running staff.(whether my 30% running allowance will be taken into account or not)

Minister's statement on Pass Rules

 

 

Information given by the Minister of State for Railways, Shri E. Ahamed in Rajya Sabha on 23 April 2010.

 

As per recommendations of the 6th Central Pay Commission as accepted by the Government, the Central Government employees drawing Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 are entitled to travel by 2nd AC by train while on official tour. So far as LTC is concerned, the entitlements are the same as for tour.
