Respected sir,
why the rostered duty hours of intensive category are fixed taking into account all seven days of a week?
whereas duty hours of other categories are fixed by taking into account only six days of a week! is this not
voilate international labour organisations' recomondation which states "six days for the employer and one day
for the employee.To do so the duty rosters of intensive cadre are prepared in a such a way that they are called
for duty with a mere daily rest of 12 hrs ,three times in week.actually which is the daily rest of essentially
intermittent category .Their(intensive) periodic rest is never suspended.This calling for duty with 12 hrs of daily
rest causes lot of inconveniance to the employee which is again a HOER violation. I want to know whether my
interpretation of rules correct or not? If correct where to represent these issues to get justice?If not what are the
correct rules?
And also I WANT TO KNOW FROM WHERE I CAN GET THE DUTY ROSTERS FOR INTENSIVE CATEGORY
APPROVED BY GOVERNMENT OF INDIA.
