Even after so many months of implementation of 6th Pay Commission no decision has been taken for the eligibility fist class/ 3AC pass. It seems that rules are still under consideration in Board office. Nobody knows how long it will be "under consideration". An apparent problem is that every 6500-10500 scale has not been 4600 grade pay in 6th CPC.

 

It should be noted that Central Govt employees other than railways having 4200 grade pay and above can travel in 2nd AC on duty, whereas railwaymen appointed after 1987 , even though they reached 4200, 4600, 4800 Grade pay are not eligible for the same.

Dear Sir,

 I  had  passed  the  commercial  apprentice / traffic  apprentice  exam  in  the  year 2009 which was conducted  by    Chennai/Trivandrum RRB. Employment  notice  no  2/2008. But  I was  in  additional   list. I want  to  know  whether the  RRB  is publishing  the  supplementary  list  so  that  I  can  get  job  in  railway or  I  had  to  write  a  new  exam  to  get  a  job  in  railway.

You are eligible to be included in your fathers First class pass and travel with that pass. You wont get a separate pass.

No, there is no such facility. You can take school pass when you come back on vocation and to go back after vocation in 2 AC.

I took VRS from S.Rly in May 2011, Before retirement I was benefitted with 3rd AC Privilege pass, because I worked as Gr.I Technician from 2006 in GP 2800. After retirement Personnel Branch denied me 3rd AC Post retirement pass, since they are not having any office order regarding this.

In my pension book it is clearly mentiond that I am eligible for 3rd AC Post Retirement pass. When this problem will solve?

All others below 4200 grade pay can avail IInd Class A pass (3rd AC) once in a year irrespective of length of service.

i have been selected as JE-Dsl mech from RRB-Chennai. I have gone through the circular of One year training for JE-Mech. My doubt is it is applicable for this current batch of fresh recuits. is My stipend is going to be in 9300-4200 rs or the old one?

Is there complete Accomdation facility available during the whole traing period, since HRA is not included in the stipend?

If you already started your training under old scheme it is unlikely to change.

Hostel facilities are given only in Training Institutes, for line training it is not provided.

So for inline trianing which is i think not contionus for a period so what about the accomdation over then.??

Line training will not be continuous. You should find your own accommodation for line training. Sometimes your supervisor may adgust some accommodation locally.

As I have received a letter from DRM's office WCR -KOTA that i have selected at 9300-34800 GP-4200 (RSRP) and also written in continuation that 5200+2800 per month plus admissible allowances. Trainees undergoing 1.5 year of training period are getting 8560+GP-2800 or 4200 plus 58% D.A. I would like to know that why i would be having only 5200+2800 since GP has been revised to 4200.

1 year training is being implemented for JE s. I think it will be the case for KOTA also by the time your training starts. In the letter calling you for the commencement of training it will bemetioned along with your basic.

So you can be rest assured that it is not a final verdict on your salary.

 Yes this is true that there are around 26 seats are in WCR for mechanical but there are about 60 in NWR so it is difficult to say from which division you will be called as there are other divisions in NWR such as Bikaner,ajmer,jodhpur etc and in WCR there are 3 divisions kota.jabalpur and bhopal. It may possible that Kota division has started from C&W and mech candidates will be called afterwards. There are some others candidates I know  from mech who also haven't received call letter so nothing to worry.
