As per Sixth Pay commission recommendations, employee will get increment only if you complete 6 months or above in the scale as on July 1.

As you were on leave without pay from 01.01.2010 to 02.08.2010, on 1 July 2010 you didnt complete 6 months in the scale, so you are not eligible for increment.

After 02.08.2010, you were on ML and CCL which is paid leave and counted as service for all purpose. So you are eligible for increment.

You should have been fixed with 2 increments in 5000-9000 on 18/5/2002.  Why you waited all these years to ask this question to somebodysurprise?

sir,

one of my colleague was on penalty meanwhile he was promoted with condition that his promotion will be effective from the date when his penalty is over, and his penalty was over on 10th February 2012 and on the same date he got his promotion, but the person concerned has placed a request that he should be given the option to choose the date of his pay fixation, i.e. 10th February 2012 or the date of next increment (1st JUly 2012). Kindly help me in this matter............which is correct. And if you may give reference of any OM etc......I'll bhe obliged

Thanking you Vinay kumar Yadav

As per Rule 1313 of IREC (Also known as FR - 22)  every Railway employee on promotion has option to opt for pay fixation either from date of promotion or from next increment date. It has to be exercised within one month from date of promotion.

Sir,

My Father Late Sundar Lal Khare was a pensioner from Kharagpur division, South Eastern Railway and did not renewed his family health card. He died on 19/12/2011. My mother is receiving family pension now. Whether she can avail health card now. If yes what are the steps to be taken for it. She is only eligible beneficiary of him as all of her sons & daughter are independent & earning.

If an employee is on leave on 1 july his increment will take effect on the date he joins after leave.

sir, on 15-05-2014 i applied for My PTO, but the pass section rejected the PTO Applicationon 25-05-2014 showing some silly mistake. they are taking approx 10 days for just scrutining/checking the application form. and it takes approv 20 days for issuing a PTO . So, i want to know that can i take any action against them? is so, plaese know me the rules.

unfortunately there are no rules regarding timeframe to issue pass/PTO.

Try to complain to APO/DPO.
