Can you provide me the Railway Board Order no./circular no. regarding  the payment of HRA & TA. As because my House Rent Allowance and Travelling Allowance for  a period of 19 days is still due.
I am a Jr. Stenographer at CLW and was appointed on 13th July 2010 and I was posted on 14th July 2010. My HRA and TA was given from 1st August,2010. Whenever I enquired about the HRA & TA of that period, my enquiry was turned down. that the employee have to loose the payment of HRA & TA of that period. even some of my colleagues are not paid HRA &TA.
So I request you to please provide the Railway Board Order no./Circular no.  any Ruling in IREC/IREM, etc if any so that I can claim  my HRA &TA.

Mr. A.K. Burman,

First of all, the allowance you are talking about is Transportation Allowance not Traveling Allowance. Any how, the you will be paid HRA & rp. Allowance will be paid effecting from the date of submission of declaration/application before competent authority declaring that you are in a possession of any Railway accommodation.

In this regard, all fellow serving Railway Employees are requested to guide the new comers in Railways about their facilities, Railway rules, to comply all the formalities such as filling up of all the declarations e.g. PF & DCRG nomination, registration for NPS etc..
