Robbed by Ticket Issuer on Ticket Window

Hi Railway Employees,

Yesterday my railway season pass expired and today I went to issue new one. I was in a bit hurry and handed over my wallet to ticket issuer on counter since ID was attached to wallet. After giving details the Ticket Issuer asked me thrice for the station details to which I responded back.

After that I was issued quarterly ticket and left the counter. Later when I open my wallet to check money ,I was shocked to see 300 Rs was missing and can't believe I was robbed by Railway employee to whom I had handed my wallet.

It has been seen many a times that such Employees are ever-ready to take on commuter by giving lesser amount in return than calculated ,if  commuter comes back they handover the remaining sum guilt-fully.

I would like to know is there any warnings/suspension could be placed on such employees on finding them guilty of such theft?

Our trust with Railways is broken and we tend to say government is bound to do such kind of cheap things.

Sum of 300  won't matter much to me ,but had it been done with a needy, poor commuter ,that would be shame and cheapest thing one could expect from Railways.

Hope there will be regular checks and seminar are carried on to build a strong relationship with commuters.

Your Sincerely,

A Railway Commuter.
