Please clarify that if any candidate (recruit) is came for medical examination to divisional level or workshop level hospital if some tests are not exists or required specialist opinion of HQ level hospitals/Divnl. Hospitals where such specialists are available. if the candidates are eligible to get free medical pass to travel to obtain such tests/specialists opinion. what r they.

A railway employee in GP 2800 he get first 5 years 1 set and after 5 years he get 3 set pass i want to know what is the meaning of this and also i want to know how many family members can travel with the employee at a time and who are eligible.
This means that a new employee get a pass per year valid for four months only. After 5 years of service he is eligible for 3 passes per year valid four months each. There is no restriction on fammily members number.
I joined Southern Railway on 19/10/1990. Worked upto 25/07/2010 then Railway did not sanction my leave and so was absent. Railway removed me from Service on 15/03/2012 and Sanctioned compassionate allowance. Am I eligible for post retirement pass and medical benefits as my total service till removal is more than 20 years.
Some staff from Pensonnel branch informed me that my qualifying service is 19 years and 9 months (upto 25/07/10) and may not be able to get Pass and medical benefits. My appeal against removal is still pending with administration.
Would you please clarify regarding eligibility of post retirement pass & medical facility.

I have heard that there is such a thing as International Pass, for Post Retirement Complimentary Pass holders. If this is true, does anyone know about it? Do you know the circular that pertains to this matter.
