I) I JOINED RAILWAY AS ELECTRIC ASST. DRIVER ON 21/8/21989 THROUGH RRB/BBS IN PB-1 GP RS.1900/-.
II) THEN MAINTAINING SERVICE SENIORITY, AGAIN I JOINED AS APPRENTICE TXR ON 23/4/1991 THROUGH RRB/ BBS (DIRECT RECRUITMENT) IN PB-2 GP RS.4200/-.

VI AM I ELIGIBLE FOR MACP?
VI) MY SR.D.P.O SAYS THAT AS I HAVE GOT TWO FINANCIAL UPGRADATIONS (PB-1 TO PB-2 & GP RS.4200/- 4600/-) ,SO I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR MACP.
VII) BUT THERE IS NO CONTRIBUTION OF RAILWAY FOR MY RECRUITMENT TO PB-2, IT IS DIRECT RECRUITMENT ON MY OWN MERIT.
VIII) AM I ELIGIBLE FOR MACP ? IF YES KINDLY SEND THE RAILWAY BOARD CIRCULAR TO MY ID SBANDO2011@YAHOO.IN
I want to know about my MACP.
I joined Indian Railway (Through RRB Ahmedabad)on 08-01-1990 as P Way Mistry(1400-2300) in Rajkot Division of W.Rly. I got my first promotion as PWI Gr.III(5000-8000)on06-02-1997 ADHOC,later I have been Regularise in PWI Gr.III(5000-8000)on 14/03/2002 in Rajkot Division.
I got my next promotion as PWI Gr.II(5500-9000)on 18-07-2005in Ahmedabad Division of W.Rly.
Now I am working as JE(p way)(9300-34800)GP4200
Sir My question is how many finiancial upgradation with date will be given to me for whom I am eligible in my MACP? Because I was Recruited in 1400-2300(GP4200) on 08-01-1990 and after completion of 22 Years of service I am still working in 9300-34800GP4200

I reported railway sick for 5 days . sick and fit certificate was given to my incharge SS but my payment was deducted by his senior beat incharge , .is it valid
My Details are as under:
D.O.A. as Goods Guard grade 1200-2040 :17-10-1987
D.O.P. as Passenger Guard in Grade(RSRP 5000-8000) : 01-03-1993
D.O.P. as Mail Express Guard in Grade (RSRP 5500-9000) :01-03-2003
My Pay grade has been changed only twice till date as under :
1)on 1-3-93 fro grade of 1200-2040 to 1350-2200.
2) on 1-3-2003 from RSRP 5000-8000 to 5500-9000.
AS per para 5 of letter RBE No.101/2009 dated 10/06/2009 pay grades of 5000-8000 & 5500-9000 have been merged which has further been clarified in letter no. PC-V/2010/MACP/7/ECR dated 10-02-2011.
Kindly clarify whether I am eligible for MACP.
See the PC-V/2010/MACP/7/ECR dated 10.2.2011 that you quoted.
It says: Promotion in Guards category
"(i) From Goods Guard to Sr. Goods Guard.
(ii) From Sr. Goods Guard to Passenger Guard.
(iii) From Sr. Passenger Guard to Mail/Express Guard (Passenger Guard to Sr. Passenger Guard to be ignored).
Thus, such employees are not entitled to any further financial upgradation under MACP Scheme."
So in your case you got 2 promotion - Goods to Passenger and then to Exp. SO you are eligible for third MACP in 2013.
Sir, Thank You very much for answering my query . There is a small error in my representation which I request you to please consider.
I had mentioned my second date of promotion as Mail Express Guard on 01-03-2003 , whereby I was actually promoted as Sr. Passsenger Guard from Passenger Guard in pay scale of RSRP 5500-9000, and not as Mail Exp. Guard.
After this promotion, I was given promotion as Mail Express Guard on 13-10-2004 without any monetary benefit and I am working in the same pay grade of RSRP 5500-9000.
Kindly clarify when I am due for MACP in this situation.
