Retirement and Pension

Dear Sir / Madam

 My father Late Ganga Lal Prasad working in N.F.Railway who retired on 31-01-2003 at the time of retirement his basic pay is 8650.00, who died on 10-01-2010, Now my mother get family pension rs. 7000.00 , i will just wanted to know whether this pension amount is correct family amount.Please guide us because we are staying in a village where people told that this amount is less and contact to you.
