Eligible for MACP

Respected Sir,

 

1)    I had joined Eastern Railway as ESM/III in S&T Department on 03.01.1983 (as per 6th.CPC GP-1900)

2)    Promoted as ESM/II on 22.08.1986 (as per 6th.CPC GP-2400)

3)    I had been selected as JE/II Signal against 20% by induction of Intermediate Apprentices and posted on 19.12.1988 (GP-4200) after completion of 8 months Training as Intermediate Apprentice Course at IRISET/SC.

4)    I was promoted as JE/I on 01.01.94

5)   Again I was promoted as SE/Sig. 0n 16.08.2001 and present GP is 4600.

 In this position am I eligible to get 2nd MACP as GP-4800 from Dec-08, as per Railway Boards letter PC-V/2009/ACP/2 dated 12.09.2012 (RBE No. 100/2012) para (1) Induction of an employee may be treated as Direct Recruitment for the purpose of grant of financial upgradation under MACPS. In such cases past service rendered in a lower pay scale/Grade Pay shall NOT be counted for the purpose of MACP Scheme.
