AEN. Without exam by normal seniority it can take 15-20 years or even more.

Hi Sir ,

I recently got appointed in Group C Technician Grade 3 (Fitter 3) in Mechanical Carriage & Wagon dept. I am a B.Com(H) graduate and have post graduate diploma in computer application. Is there any way for me to move from Technician to Administration/Clerical jobs ? What is the growth opportunity for me as a Tech 3 in Mechanical ? What is the criteria if I want to upgrade to Tech 2 or Tech 1 ? Any help or suggestion will be appreciated. Thank You.

There is no way you can get transfer to Administration. Tech 2 & 1 will be by normal promotion through seniority.
