I am writing on behalf of my father.
Sir,my father is an ex-serviceman,he served 26 years in army and now he is serving northern railway as a gateman.
He was recruited in april 2011 through ex-servicemans quota.
Right now he is posted in Lucknow.
He is 48 years old and he finds difficulty in handling the tough duty specially during nights as he have to give night duty continuosly for 7-14 days.
we live 400 kms away from him.he have to make his own food due to which he is unable to take rest nicely.He wants that either he should be transferred to varanasi division or it will be best if his cadre is changed.His trade was Telecommunication in Army and he have good knowledge in english and maths so he can do the work of clerk very easily.Right now he is in Lucknow division(NR) and wants to get transfered to Varanasi division(NER).In the last railway should put all army mens to c group.as they have served the royal service.
