I was compulsorily retired from Service on 2nd April 2009 with all the benefits. I was appointed on 23rd May 1980 & my date of birth was 28th January 1954.

My pension is effected from 1st April 2012 due to non clearance from Railway Board's Vigilance Direcotorate.
I would be grateful if you kindly let me know my pensionary fixation is correct or not? I came to understand that Pre 6th Pay Commission grades of Rs. 5000-8000 & Rs. 5500-8000 are now merged and new grade pay of Rs 4600 has been awarded to them. Is it true? If so, what is the remedy for my case.
