Pay Fixation on Promotion

Hi,

My joining date is 10 Aug 2007. Presently my basic is 22280 (15600+5400+ 2 increment) . Now i got permotion on next higher grade (6600). I would like to know that....
1.     What should my salary  be on 6600 grade
2.     what is the way of calculation ?

Calculation is like this:

  • One promotional increment old pay + GP ie, 3% of 22280 = 668(Rounded to next 10 = 670)
  • Add to present pay ie, (22280 - 5400 ) +670 = 17550
  • New GP 6600
  • So new Basic pay =17550 + 6600 = 24150

The pay you mention is only for direct rectuits in 6600.

Ye kaise ho jayega? 1800 se 4600 promotion nahi hota hai. Apko GDCE ya RRB me 4600 mila to apko 9300 plus 4600 GP milega. Depat candidate ko 6 CPC entry pay nahi milta hai.

You should have got Rs. 5150 as pay is protected.

You have choice - either you will get salary in present GP with TA applicable or stipend in 4200.

SIR,

 

I WAS WORKING AS A SR. TRAIN CLERK IN 5200-20200-2400, WITH BASIC 9490(7090+2400). NOW I HAVE BEEN PROMOTED AS A GOODS GUARD IN 2800G.P. AND BEEN FIXED AT 9890. BUT ACCORDING TO 6TH PAY COMMISSION THE BASIC OF GOODS GUARD IS 11360(8560+2800). SIR CAN U PLEASE EXPLAIN IS IT CORRECT OR NOT.

Unfortunately the minimum prescribed is only for Direct recruitees. This is an anomaly in sixth CPC where Direct recruit gets more pay than departmental promotee. Unfortunatley your pay fixation is correct as per the extent orders.

Sir,

     I was promoted in Gr Rs.6500-10500 in sep-2005 I opted for fixation of pay in Feb-2006 as my increment date in Gr. Rs 5500-9500 was in Feb, later in 2008 when 6th PC I re opted my fixation from the date of Promotion as the employess who were getting increment in Feb to June were not getting promotion, now the the orders of re-option has come Personnel Branch has send it for vetting the same, but the Accounts department is not willing, please advice me whether I will get my pay re-fixed or not.

Option for fixation has to be given within a month of date of promotion or a new order changing the rules.

Sir,

     My date of joining in railway is 19-05-2001.As per 6th PC my basic was 12810+GP 4800 on July 2008.I got promotion to next grade,ie15600-39100+GP 5400 in August 2008.Sir what should be my new basic from August 2008 as per 6th PC.Sir please gave me idea about exact calculation.Whether I am eligible for one more increment after promotion

Pay on 1.1.06 = 1.86 x Pay on date in 5th CPC + GP of the post. After that you get one increment every July 1.

i am working as goods gaurd, my basic is 11360 in 2800gp i am getting 30% benifit of running staff. now i am promoted as traffic apperantice in 4200. can u please tell me what will be my pay fixation in 4200 and will i get the 30% benifit..

details of pay

18.06.2005 rate of pay 6125 scale of pay 4500-7000

after promotion 18.06.2005 rate of pay 6375 of pay scale 5500-9000

but option given date of increment i.e. stage fixation as on 18.06.2005 for pay 6200

date of next increment feb'2006  Rs.6125 + 125 + 125 = 6375 next higher one increment 6550  fixed and going on upto July'2008.

Sir I was appoint in Western Railway in 13.04.1995 as a Stenographer in 2400GP and promoted 31.05.1996 as a confidential assistant in 4200GP.  After that I was transferred from HQ CCG to RTM Division my own request on 20.02.2000 in bottom seniority and bottom scale at 2400GP with pay protection.  Sir, I have get promotion on 02.2002 in 4200GP at RTM Division and still working in 4200 GP till now April 2015.

Kindly advice about my MACP scheme, whenever is due, February 2012 or April 2015 or April 2025 (which is Second or Third) Because the staff of personnel department is confused regarding the due date of my MACP.  Please help me sir.
