You can apply for mutual transfer. But 5 years required for one way transfer.
Mutual transfer is permitted between different communities, but in that case both will get lowermost seniority in the new unit.

sir,
i want to know that letter issued by DOPT for pay fixation of retired pensioners on reemployment are suitably adopted on railways for pay fixation or not secondly one letter of DOPT no. 3/19/2009.Estt. pay ii dated 08 Nov 2010 not yet circulated by railway board v want that letter to be circulated by railway board for the benefit of ex- servicemen who re employed in Indian railways.So what should we do for the circulating that letter

Only Railway Board can decide about implementation of orders in Railways. The only way is may be to represent through pensioner's associations.

There are 2 different streams in Railways fr promotion to Group C. One is GDCE - Any railway employee who has the required qualification for the post can apply for GDCE. The other is departmental vacancies (LDCE)- only candidates of Comml and Operating dept can attend TC/TNC exam through departmental examination .

Sir I know that we can grow higher and higher through LDCE and GDCE. I have joined as a JE pway and if i pass all the departmental exams which i come across in railways ,to what level can i go ? Can i reach Chairman or Chief engineer or Superintending ?
To reach such great heights ,is it necessary to pass IES or IAS ? Can a LDCE and GDCE be the alternative way to that?

No, first GDCE posts are limited to Group C posts. LDCE is available to become Group B officer. But even if you become a Group B officer you reach only upto certain level. Maximum to JA level officer.
If you want to become Chariman or GM the only way is via UPSC exams - Civil services or Engg Services exam.

how calculate/ get pay /DA/HRA Total pay after transfer ???
and what loss in total payment in 2nd month after transfer / and then future pay??

Here is an example:
An OS with Basic 19000 (Pay 14800 + GP 4200) goes in one way transfer to another Division. He is graduate and absorbed against the recruitment grade of Sr. Clerk with GP 2800 (subject to availability of Sr. Clerk recruitment quota vacancy, else he will go as Jr. Clerk with GP 1900).
His new Basic will be Pay 14800 + GP 2800 = 17600.
Now his DA, HRA and all other wallowances will be calculated on this basic.

It is quite unfortunate that people join Railways, especially in Group D thinking that they will get a white collar soon, preferably after a few months as Group D. No my dear freind, you are one among the hundreds of post graduates working as Group D in IR.
You can apply to GDCE only when they call for it, which may be once in an year or two depending on vacancies.

we both are App JE join 2 months before. wethere it is possible to get mutual transfer in apprentice or training. I am obc-generl and he is SC catogery.

Here is an example: A Station Master with pay 8350 and Grade Pay 4200 (BAsic Pay = 8350 + 4200 = 12550) is transferred to another Railway on request. His Pay 8350 will remain same and GP will be that of recruitment Grade - that is ASM GP of 2800. SO new basic = 8350 + 2800 = 11150.
All the allowances like HRA / DA will be calculated on new basic of 11150.

First your file moves from ADra Division to HQ of SER and then to NER HQ. From there it moves to Varanasi. The same happens with the file of your partner. Then the file has to travel back through thesame way.

There are no shortcuts to join Railways. The only way is to attend and pass RRB exam. Prepare well and when RRB announcement come apply.

As per Manual Same cadre is the condition for mutual. Not the medical.
