SIR I AM TECHNICIAN GRADE 1 IN C&W MECHANICAL DEPARTMENT WORKING IN SECUNDERABAD DIVISION MY NATIVE PLACE IS VISAKHAPATNAM I WANT TO PUT REQUEST TRANSFER FROM SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY ZONE TO EAST COAST RAILWAY ZONE SO NEED TO KNOW THE RULES FOR REQUEST TRANSFER SOME OF MY FRIEND TOLD THAT I WILL LOSS MY DESIGNATION AS TECH 1 TO TECH 3 AND I LOSS MY SENIORITY ALSO IS THIS TRUE PLESE PROVIDE WHAT WILL HAPPENS TO ME IF I TRANSFERED FROM HERE TO OTHER ZONE

If you are able to find somebodyfor amutual transfer in the same Grade you wont lose anything. But if you are unable to find somebody in the same grade, and if you find a person a lower grade then both of you will get the grade and seniority of junior. And finally if you opt for a one way transfer you will be posted as Grade III in lowermost seniority.

Normally the transfer willb e given only after disposal of charge sheet and award of penalty.

There is a Railway Board order saying that Mutual applications should be processed as soon as they receive (RBE 156/2007 dated 04-12-2007).

MY QUALIFICATION IS B.SC (HONS) IN ELECTRONICS.THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SENIOR P-WAY SUPERVISOR POST IS B.SC (HONS) IN PHYSICS OR MATH.AM I ELIGIBLE FOR HE POST?

Do AMIE. Other correspondence courses are not appproved in Railways.
sir i have applied for on request transfer from wr to nwr in july 2010 but my application from my division office has not been forwarded to my zonal office ccg mumbai till date. i want to know if there is any specific period for forwardind the on request transfer application under the transfer rules plz guide me accordingly . i am workng as sse c & w at gim wr.
