Training of Railway employees

  • Indian Railways have 291 Training centers to impart training to different categories of railwaymen (See list of training centers of Indian Railways).
  • Every year 1 Lakh employees undergo Refresher courses. If the schedules are strictly adhered, it is estimated that 4 to 4.5 Lakh employees should undergo RC every year. 
  • Each Training Institute has to submit Annual performance report to Manpower Directorate of Railway Board. 
  • Training of Railway servants can consist class room training on technical as well as Railway working rules, on job training and even  in some cases independent working as part of training depending on the category of employee.

would you like to clarify me about why a railway employee can not apply for any lower grade post through proper channel under RRB Recruitment.

Is there any RB's circular,please provide us circular. thanks.

Can we understand this that we are eligible for apply in lower GP posts,then why application is not forwarded or considered by administration.
Can we do something about this sir,please help...

Basically administration decides whether to forward an application or not. As per IREM the authority deciding can decide based on guidelines given. As per this when the application is even for same grade , authority should exercise his power with care keeping public interest in mind.

                        for je or sse if ELECTRONICS&COMMUNICATION branch student applied for mechanical workshop post then what bits he will get in exam whether mechanial or electronics or all branches  and if he qualify and get job then he will put in same department or signal &tele .please give clarity sir very urgent

 i  am   working  under   secunderabad  division  so   where is available  department  transfer  application forms  and  i did  not get any  information  about   department  exam  notifications

Departmental exam details are not avaialble online. Railways still work with the age old system of sending circulars cyclostyled.

If you dont get any information regarding departmetnal exams it is the fault of your supervisor. HE will be getting advise regarding the exams which he has to convey to subordinates.

Kindly let me know ,what is the duration of training period  for those who were selected  from 25% LDCE  khalasi to Technician Gr.3  and what is the relevant Railway Board orders. Please suggest and advise me.

Here in Trivandrum divisions  no Railway Board orders are followed.

I joined SR as  a technician Gr. III in Feb, 2012.

My training period has been completed in Oct, 2012.

Now, I am selected as a Technician Gr. III in North Eastern Railway. It is nearby Home.

When, I filled application form for North Eastern railway. I show as unemployed person.

Because , I was in training tthat time.

Is there any problem to join North Eastern Railway??  Is there any need of resignation from Southern railway??? kindly help me and guide in correct way.

Sir, I joined tech. Gr.III at santragachi on june 2012. In training period i was doing night duty atleast 5 months. But no Night allowance had given to me. My bill clerk said that training employees are not applicable for NDA. But sir there are rule in the railways that tr. candidate doesnot work in night. So sir If I work in night, I'm able to get NDA. Please confirm me

Sir, I have join in electrical dept. as JE on dated 03.11.2009. My training was of 18 months and stipend rate was 8560 2800. On the basis of rly board letter regarding change in rate of stipend and duration of training period am I consider in new rules and entitle for stipend arrear, because of duration of same say commission. Please reply with reason and connect letter of orders. Thank you.

It provides only benefit of seniority and fixation pay as a onetime exception. But does not say anything about revision of Stipend of ongoing batch.

This clearly says that " The above revised rates of stipend are applicable to those batches that undergo the modified training modules as indicated against the category."

Sir,

         I joined as trainee tech III (Appointment on compassionate ground)  at howrah emu carshed  on 1st april 2009. In training period i was paid stipend which include only( Basic+DA ).

         Where as according to railway board  letter no E(NG)II/1998/RC-I/64  trainee's on compassionate ground are entitled for all other allowance except few .

                                        sir my training ended on 31st march 2012 know i m tech-III, all the current trainee in my shed gets house rent convenes allowance .when i approached my clerk he says that u r not entitled because the date on which letter was signed is 14.09.2012.but there is no specific date of implementation,please help  because there is no difference in my and there appointment letter we all are PB-I(5200-20200-1800),

                                            Please reply me whether i am entitled for arrear of my house rent and convenes allowance.
