RRB Waitlist/replacement panel validity

sir i am a waitlisted candidate of RRB allahabad so I filed an RTI application just to know about my rank under waitlist and about forming of replacement panel in case of shortfall in main panel. But I received a letter from RRB Allahabad yesterday that is saying: “waiting list automatically vanishes after formation of final panel”
while I know some of my friend will not join after document verfication and seat will remain vacant, now please suggest me what can I do after that?

I think if Zone ask for it, RRB will give. But who in the zone is going to take the pain to write RRB about it(unless you know somebody there)?

Actually i mean to say that may be vacancy arises in zonal railway after final joining of selected candidate and then they might ask for replacement panel (equal to unfilled vacancy) to concerned RRB. as it is clearly written in the railway board order "It is, therefore, reiterated that Railways / Units must make full use of the provision of Replacement panels. From now on whenever a fresh indent is placed on RRB, it should carry a certification that the previous panel for the post has been exhausted and the provision for Replacement Panel has been made use of. If not, reasons for the same should be spelt out"

No, after final joining of the slected candidate, the list is finished. After that if somebody quit, it is a fresh vacancy left by an employee.

i am from rrb chennai....in my category more than five persons joined already for training.....and more than ten persons r still waiting for medical and other procedures....all r in the main list only...my doubt is..... among us in what basis they will calculate seniority.....

i think file a case in court is an option.because these are current vacancy which is left by merit candidate and should fill by waitlisted candidates.

i have written email to rrcb chaiman and copy to GM ECR,railway minister,minister of state etc for ignoring waitlisted candidates by rrbs which are left by selected candidates.
and i think these are current vacancy because main list candidates not go to join after verification.

@ rks85 I think both of them will not reply to ur email because they might already aware of to the present scenario of calling candidate by RRB because all procedures followed by RRB are governed by RRCB itself.
U should ask to the chairman of RRCB why they r not considering waitlisted candidate while many candidate from main list did not turn up during document verification. The panel issued to CPO was not equal to the no of vacancy advertised; it was short from the required one. Further if u see the result section of RRB Ahmadabad website, u will find a supplementary panel issued after document verification of 5/2010 in which they are saying that “no candidate available” and without considering waitlisted candidate. That creates another confusion whether waitlisted candidate called in near future or not.
U should also visit a ministry of railway website rti.railnet.gov.in, here we ask our query though RTI application, I’ve already filed some application regarding not calling of waitlisted candidate and also encourages u to submit your’s there, because here they r bound to reply within a month and this consist of almost all the directorate of railway board.
One more thing RRB patna has already issued some supplementary result so may be they will declare it in near future but u should assure yourself by getting information.

i know that none of them would reply,but my aim was to give a message to higher authority for this unjustice by rrbs,may be it works.
and i also think to write a letter to these authorities shortly.

Yes, you should definitily go for it. hope this news would be good for you as....
RRB AJMER in their final result of 5/2010 clearly says, "Similarly, the category wise list indicating Roll Numbers of candidates in ascending order who were lower in merit and could not be considered for empanelment due to non-availability of vacancies, although they were called for
document verification. These candidates are placed in standby list. There is no guarantee for empanelment of these candidates. Their names may only be considered for empanelment in due course if the indenting Railways ask for replacement panel within the specified time from this RRB against the shortfall due to declared medically unfit of the selected candidates or the selected candidates did not respond to the offers sent by Railways to them."

How rrb advertising vacancies without prior requirement from all divisions community wise...Its really amazing...Whether vacancies are for future requirement or for already vacant seats..

In the recent selection for technician grade-3(signal) i was selected in South Central Railway.
Actually my educational qualification is B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering and also i have completed MBA in distance mode from IGNOU.
I want to know, once i joined as technician grade-3(signal), is there any internal exams to get promoted to higher grade or to junior grade or to section grades.
And also tell me details regarding the pormotion pattern with the time taken to get promoted to that posts.
Another thing is that i am eligible now to write the SE (s&t) as an internal candidate of railways.
please assist me.

why rrb chennai takes long time for section engineer appointment ? If we asked to cpo office, there they simply said there is no vacancy. if there is no vacancy, why they called for recruitment ? they published notification on march 2010, exam on dec 2010 , result on sep 2011,certificate verification on oct 2011, final results on nov 2011& still now not for medical test and character verification & its running.but in some department, candidates started their training and got around six months experience,some department candidates got selected & waiting for past 7 months without any work.if anybody knows the reason for such a delay please explain ? for all the posts the notification, exam, results, certificate verification are held on same date but we are suffered. Higher officials in this site please address our sufferings...............................

RRBs and Divisions/Zones suffer of procedural delays. While it is frustrating for the candidates, Divisions/Zones have elaborate procedures to complete for completion of appointment. Different Divisions have different priorities based on the needs and conditions of the Divisions. That may be the reason why your case is still waiting.

This normally happens because in the meantime from RRB calling candidates and appointment some employees got Transfer to your Division/Railway. Again unavoidable as per Railway Rules. My dear freind, Patience.........................

The rules of RRB are not clear. They announce the vacancies, and after completing all procedures of
recruitment, they say that they were filled by Promotion/Transfers. Such method of HR practice do not exist
in any of the organisation.

The reason for delay of wait-listed candidates is clearly explained in reply #46. My friend, reply in #48 is unnecessary. Railways is like an ocean. It has various divisions and zones, and hence there is some delay.

I am in waitlist for ECRC/ Goods Guards RRB Ajmer , I would like to know will I be called if panel short fall or second list of panel will be published. How much time will it take.
should i appeal to the appellate authority of RRB allhabad enclosing the railway board order regarding replacement of panel, or try any other way.....plz suggest me
