- Group B posts are normally filled by promotion from serving Group C candidates.
- Group C recruitments are made by Railway Recruitment Boards.
- Group D posts ( Those posts with GP 1800) are filled by Railway Recruitment Cells.

Actually sir i am TP in Operating Department and i have given exam for departmental i.e. 16 2/3 for Commercial Clerk in GP Rs.2000/- in Commercial department & another 33 1/3 for Ticket Collector in GP Rs.1900/- in two different dates. In the meanwhile i got selected in Commercial Clerk & gone training & appointed as Comml. Clerk. Now the result of Ticket Collector is going to be published and my name is in the selection list. So can i come under the selection procedure & got opportunity to go towards Ticket Collector as i have applied it & given exam before selection of Comml. Clerk.

Sir, I am selected as JE signal from banglur RRB (CEN 05/2010).After document verification me got a letter from RRB,my details forwded to hubli division.My 5 friends got appoinment in mysure division.so i am enquired in mysure division they said ther is only 5 vecancys right now because 3 people got transfer to mysure division so my papers are send back to hubli division.So me enquired in hubli division then they said wait for vecancys.Sir can i get this job??? The validity of the pannel only for one year.... Plz reply plzzz

I am selected for the
I am selected for the post of JE (Mech) in the Jodhpur division. I had cleared my medical examination. Yesterday i recieved a call from Jodhpur DRM to submit the Bond papers for joining as the training is to be started from 23 april.
My problem is that i am also selected for a State govt. job and i prefer this job than the railway job. But for that state govt job medical examination is to be conducted very soon. and there is possibilty that one can may fail in that exam.It will take maximum 2 months to get the final selection.
Whether i should submit the bond papers and join railway...what can be the maximum compansation railway can demand, if after joining i resign the railway job after 2 months? Will i have to take NOC from the railway to join the state govt job?

Only category 12 & 13 is
Only category 12 & 13 is permitted to submit single form. So in your case you have to submit separate forms for each in separate envelopes.

is merit list of that post made by rrb on the basis of all india or appeared candidate for different rrb for that post?
means if rrb kolkata shows 37 seats for this post ,but total no for this post is 150 when we include all the rrb which have published for this post.now i asked from you that if i give exam at rrb kolkata,then i am eligible only for rrb kolkata seats only or it does not matter where you are giving your exam ,the result is base on total no of that cat.no. post.???

1) Electrical Engineer post
1) Electrical Engineer post is better suited for Electrical engineers even though you can easily handle the job. A promotee SSE with very little technical education is also doing the job. So why not you who is a Electronics engineer?
2) If you apply for more than one post you can write the exam of other posts (only if RRB conducts the exams on separate dates which is no sure).
3) Many books are available in book shops. Refer as much as possible.
4) RRB results are based on Rank which is based on comparitive performance. So it is not possible to say for sure how much mark required.
For example in one exam 80% is enough whereas in other exam 85% is needed just because other candidates performed better or quality of question paper was easier.

The question paper will be same for one category whatever your branch is. So naturally for electrical you will have questions on electrical.
