  • Group A recruitments are filled by UPSC by All India Competitive examinations.
  • Group B posts are normally filled by promotion from serving Group C candidates.
  • Group C recruitments are made by Railway Recruitment Boards.
  • Group D posts ( Those posts with GP 1800) are filled by Railway Recruitment Cells.

Dear Sir, 

The eligibility for post of Loco inspector, Loco Pilot having minimum 75000 kms of actual driving experience and also medical de-categorized Drivers upto level of A3 who as already worked 75000 kms as driver .

If a driver who has experience of  75000 kms as driver  & under gone angioplasty with one stent and become medically de-categorized, Medical Board has given remark " Alternative Employment on medical ground - Unfit A1 as Driver, Unfit A2 but fit A3 and below having no train working or train passing duty" 

In this circumstances, can that person will be eligible for the selection of Loco Inspector being medically fit in A3 as desired minimum medical standard for this post.

I want to join as a ticket collector in railways but my problem is i have got 45% in SSC and 46%in HSC and in my graduation I got 56.19% but the eligibilty for TC its showing on net is should be 50% in matriculation which i don't have  so will I be eligibel for post to TC should I apply for the post or no.

 I had selected for asm please send me details of when will i get next promotion in years ,what will be the pay scale there,when i am eligible to write departmental exams,(if may be i will have training batch started in next month),if possible if you can guess what will be the pay revision i will get after prc.

As you are already alloted Division/zone validity of panel is not a problem. You will be given appointment bit it can take time depending on divisional procedures..

                             I am selected in Commercial Apprentice through LDCE. Now I am in training with a fixed and written training  schedule. But some times we are deputed for independent job duty for two or three months continuously. Is it right or wrong? Because in this period if any complaints or debits lodged against me then who will be responsible for that? Please clarify me Sir.

Commercial and Traffic Apprentices are given independant duty as part of their training. Of course you will be responsible for all the complaints/debits. Moreover in your case you are selected through LDCE you are a permanant employee.
