Indian Railway has declared Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) equivalent to 77 (Seventy seven) days wages without any ceiling on wages for eligibility for the financial year 2009-10.
Well, an average railway employee expected two and a half month salary as Bonus. But one has to read the rest of the story to find out the cruel joke jointly played by our Railway Board babus and Railway employee unions.
Maximum amount of PLB will be Rs. 8860 /- calculated as if 'wages' are Rs. 3500/-p.m.
Are the union wallas not ashamed to announce 77 days of Bonus through huge posters throughout the country while the employee actually get a paltry sum ??
