Fixation of Pay for fresh recruits
Entry pay in the revised pay structure for fresh recruits will be fixed as follows depending on the grade pay of the post.

Annual increments
Annual increments shall be given on the 1st of July every year. Employees completing 6 months and above in the scale as July 1 will be eligible for increment.
The amount of increment will be 3% of of total pay in the pay band plus Grade Pay. This amount will be added to the current pay to get the new Pay of the employee.
Variable increment
Given for higher achievers in Gr. A Pay Band PB 3.
It will @ 4 % (instead of 3% for others). Not more than 20 % of the employees in the grade will be given this 4%increment and others will be given 3% increment.

Not likely. You got your pay
Not likely. You got your pay fixed only in May 2006. That means in normal case you are not eligible. But in Railway interpretation of rules vary greatly.

I am appointed as trainee Technician grade III on 06/07/2005 and got confirmed on 16/03/2006. and i got next grade II promotion on 19.03.2008. As per the circular those central government employees whose were due to get their annual increment between February to June during 2006 may be granted one increment on 1.1.2006 in the pre-revised pay scales as a onetime measure and thereafter will get the next increment in the revised pay structure on 1.7.2006 as per Rule 10 of CCs(RP) Rules 2008, The pay of the eligible employees may be re-fixed accordingly.

Presently I am working as Sr. Clerk in BWSM Unit at NWR. I was appointed as Clerk on 29.12.94. I was in pay scale 3050-4590, basic pay 3800 as on 01.01.06. I got financial upgradation in pay scale 4500-7000 under ACP after completion of 12 years On 29.012.06. I was fixed on basic pay Rs. 4500/-
I give option to fix my pay in 6th pay commission from the date of financial upgradation (29.12.06). I have taken the 6th CPC arrears from the date of financial upgradation (29.12.06). Now I want to know my fixation of pay in 6 th pay commission as on 29.12.06.

DEAR SIR , I have promoted as senior technician/signal in pay band Rs.9300-34800+4200GP, on 13-06-2011. But I was under going 36 MNR (3 years), withholding annual increment due on 01-07-2009. Now the punishment is completed on 01-07-2012. Kindly clear my doubt , from which date I could get my promotion. Is there any chance to get arriers from 13-06-2011, i.e., from promotion date. I got ESM /Gr.1 promotion in march-2002, for 10 years upto march-2012, I didn't get promotion. Am I , eligible for MACP increment.

and MACP advantage is also not getting me...... presently m in 4200 if i will get benifit of MACP then i am in
4600 grade pay and pay at time 1.1.2006 is 12030 ...........

You dont say how many promotion you got in your career. Only maximum 3 promotion/MACP will be granted. Promotion in merged cadres will be ignored for MACP.

I was shortlisted by RRB patna for the post of junior engineerII electrical and my document verification had done on 2/12/2011 the verifacation result declared on 15/01/2012 after that i got a congratulation letter from RRB patna on 30/04/2012 mentioned that my document has sent to ECR headquarter Hazipur after this til now i have no information for my medical or next process of recruitment.

If you completed 6 months in the old scale you can get increment. If your pay fixation has been done in Feb, you wont get increment this year.
You wont get Bonus this year as this year Bonus is for the period 2010-11 when you were Apprentice.

Sir, I am a Station Master at Kona/ HWH Divn/ E. Rly. My colleague at Rishra Mr. Debabrata Dasgupta being junior is getting higher pay than me. Both of us came on own request transfer from other zone. Mr. Dasgupta came after 2 years of mine. The pay was fixed up in manner that he being junior in all respect, started getting higher pay than me. Shouldn't I be stepped up?

HI i am selected for JE electrical in icf. i am working in bank for the past four years as clerk. I am eligible for Pension in bank service. Now i am very confused to choose my best job. So pls any one tell me which is best and how different to other job. I am born in brought up in chennai. Pls tell me railways has no pension scheme for new recruite isnt. so help me to make best one
Only you can say which one is
Only you can say which one is better. JE will be under training for one year during whcih you will get only stipend.
New recruits have the contributory New Pension schme only where 10% is cut from slary of employee towards pension scheme.

I was promoted as je/tele in February . 2011, i want to exercise option for increment from my next date of
increment From 1.7.11. but as per my pay fixation increment given to me on feb11 And Show My Date of next increment is july 2012. I Can I opt exercise for increment through RTI
act 2005 But administration refused for the same and replied
"As per the p.s.no.104/2008 Annexure I clause 10 you are not entitled for drawing increment on 1.7.11"
I Unable to understand that if promotional increment is given by administration but refuse for option.

You have right under Indian
You have right under Indian Railways Establishment Code Vol I 1313 (FR-22) (I) for fixation on promotion. There is no reason that it should be denied.
Ask in an RTI why it has been decided quoting this rule and RBE 132/2008 where this is clarified further.

I get absorption on SEP 2006. now shall i eligible for FEB-JUNE spl increment in 5TH pay commission. my clerk told me you are not eligible because you are app on that period. But in rly on that period. PL tell me letter no if i eligible additional increment.

Instead of getting increment on Feb 2006 as per 6 CPC you are given increment on July 2006. So you missed one increment and hence you are eligible.
