Job Profile of SSE (Electrical)

  • SSE Electrical is a supervisor in electrical department of Railways. JE can be posted either station or Production Units. If posted in a station he will be in charge of the electrical installations of the station like bulbs, fan, pumps, generators etc. He will have technicians under him to actually do the job. Normally he will have a few small stations of a section under him, which means he has to travel to these stations.

    Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. from a recognized university/institution.

  • Other Allowances depend on various conditions and hence cant be stated uniformly. Other major allowances include :

  • Deductions from salry include 10% of total Pay towards New Pension scheme.

Hello everyone..I am selected for JE post for SCR..my certificate verification is successfully completed and after a long wait i got a letter today. I was asked to meet the CPO at rail nilayam on or before 19th of this month and i have to submit attested copy of all my certificates. I was aked to submit a character certificate and agreement copy. I am a bit confused here. My question is do we have to submit the agreement copy in a judicial bond paper format?? and wat abt the character certificate?? is that to be submit on a white paper or is there any format for that??

please can some one rectify my doubts.thanks in advance..

Toughness of the Medical depends on the category;  chances are there to fail even though it is not as tough as Military.

 I have selected as SE(ELECTRICAL) i got letter about 1.5 months ago. But after that there is no communication has been done.One of my friend got one more letter from DRM ALLAHABAD which contant another docoment verification and a character certificate. Please advice what i have to do?

Is training of all SE(elctrical) will  at kanpur or somewhere else?

I am selected in panel for JE -Works by RRB Chandigarh. But I have not recieved any call for medical and training . Sir will you please tell me that how much time will railway takes to dispatch the call letters for medical & training after the declaration of final results by RRB?

Also please tell me the medical standards for JE-Works.

Posting place will be decided only by CPO. Training place also dpends on your alloted zone. I suppose Railway SE will be better as your JE at present even though we dont know your working conditions there.

Yes SE is in charge Train lighting and AC also if he is posted in a station with Train maintenance depot. In workshops he will be the in charge  to ensure targets set for the unit.

You will have a thorough medical test including ECG, X ray. But since you selected are for SE Electrical it wont be that fit. If you dont have a chronic diseases and you have a good vision with or without glasses you can pass without any trouble.
