Comments

Dear sir,

I joined Railways (NCR) in march 2006 as LDC in PB-1 with Grade Pay of 1900. I got OWN REQUEST transfer in Northern Railway in 2011 at bottom seniority (without any change in my salary & Grade Pay). Being recruited on Sports Quota, i represented Railways in 3 continuous National Championships with Gold Medal. Now I am eligible for Out of Turn Promotion. My basic salary as on 1st July 2013 is 9540 (pay + GP).

Kindly guide me on below :

  1. In which GP I will be promoted now.
  2. I won last championship on 24th December 2013. So as a option, what should I opt for :  1) take the promotion from the date of championship won OR 2) from the date of next increment – 1 July.
  3. Only my GP will change to next level or my pay in payband will also be escalated to the basic minimum entry level pay in that specific Pay band. ??

With Regards.

Thank You.
