Change of cadre is possible
Change of cadre is possible only by GDCE or by fresh RRB posting. Mutual is permitted with identical posts in the cadre only. IF you are JE/ELc only with JE/ELC and not with JE/MEch

I was late on my duty by 20 Minutes so i was markes x in attendence register by Works Manager and register was also closed by WM whenever it was in my duty to close the register.
I applied for Delay Condone which was verbally refused by WM.

Once you are late for duty, it is the aboslute power of the authority to condone your fault. There is no other way than to request your higher up again.

sir,i was working as helper 2 for the past two year. i have now been selected for JE gr ll. in my training i am drawing the last paid salary in my last grade through option given.how will be my pay fixed? whether will there be any differents between employee and apprentice on fixing pay?

Your pay will be fixed after
Your pay will be fixed after training as that of Direct recruit. There will not be any diiference. Only difference is that you will get TA and other benefits during training whereas a direct recruit will not get them.
You will get the entry grade
You will get the entry grade GP only. Pay(except GP) will remain same.

If a Pharmacist having grade pay 4600 (MACP) seeks inter railway request transfer.

your transfer may be on
your transfer may be on mutual transfer which will make you to retain GP of Rs.4600/- if other partner of mutual transfer carry's same. other wise you have to go on botton seniority in recruitment grade pay Rs.2800/- if your transfer is on interrailway transfer.you may have good information with your CPO office of zone.I suggest you approach to your CPO office for latest up dated information of your needy information, best of luck.

On selection through RRB with proper chanel appointed as Tr. JE-II / ERly. & released from parent cadre on submitting Technical resignation on 09/02/11.
i,e after compliting 5 Yrs indipendent work.i,e A PERMANENT RAILWAY EMPLOYEE.
after sucessful complitation of training as JE-II ,when my posting order have been issued can i back to my parent cadre, as my father is a cancer patient & seriously ill.& my posting is far away from my house

Did you really give a Resignation letter? You dont have to resign to take up a higher grade post in Railways itself. You can come back to your parent cadre within 2 years in that case.
But if you really submitted a resigantion letter that is different.

i have completed 2 years and 8 months commercial apprentice period. Please send me leaves that are available during apprentice period. After completion of apprentice period am i get LAP and LHAP during the sevice? Also I have completed additional 8 months of training without my fault during the apprentice period. Thereby i lost the seniority in the division in additional to the financial loss. Shall i get both?
You are eligible for all
You are eligible for all kinds of Leave as for an employee. LAP and LHAP should be credited to your leave account for all the period of apprenticeship. How come this additional 8 months of training?

If you have 5 years service in GP 4200 you can apply.

There are no official forms ,
There are no official forms , although there are unofficial forms people use.
Whether you lose your seniority and grade depends on whether you go on mutual transfer or one way. In the first case , you get seniority and grade of junior and in second case you become junior most in the new division. In both the cases pay will be protected.

I am working in Western Railway as Senoir Section Engineer/Works since my appointment yeay 1997. I am a diploma holder in engineering discipline only. I would like to go on transfer from Bhavnager Division. Is there any prescribed proforma application form available for applying transfer from one division to other division of the same Rly (o)r to go on deputation basis. If I get transfer , can I get the same grade of post and pay.

I m Rupesh Kumar Sinha joined railway (mech workshop,Gorakhpur) as tech-III, carpenter on compassionate ground on july 2008 after completion of three years of training posted on shopfloor, but sir i never done such type of work in my life because before joined railway i was working as a area sales manager in MNC pharmaceuticals company and earning much more than present. the current situation make me deppresed and i m very hopeless. therefore sir you are requested to please suggest me honestly what i have to do, i have already planned to quit the rly because i have no satisfaction of job.presntly i earn 15000 p.m and when i joined MNC company i suppose to draw 30,000 to 35,000 p.m. i know govt service is much more better than pvt. but the nature of work is also play important role in the carrer where job satisfaction is much more important.

For the transfer you can give application to your higher authorities. Whether you will get the transfer or not depends on conditions including vacancy available. You are supposed to get priority in transfer as you wife is in govt service. If you are transfered within division you wont lose anything. Otherwise you lose seniority.

Im an ex-servicemen sellected through RRB chandigarh in 2000 june as a technician, Kindly let me know what is the minimum regular service years that I have to put in to be eligible for any pension from the Indian Railways.My age now is 54 years
You have to put in 20 years
You have to put in 20 years to get pension. So you dont have any chances for pension.
All the railway employees are
All the railway employees are getting each month in fact a part of the salary as advance. For example in Southern Railway before 2010 wage period was from 16 th to 15 th of every month. So when an employee receive salry of October on say 12.11.2009 the sary can be divided inot three portion:
1) from 16.10.2009 to 31.10.2009 for which he actually worked and the bill preparing authority know that you worked from the pay bill sent from the office of employee.
2) from 1.11.2009 to 11.11.2009 for which he actually worked, but the bill preparing authority does not know if you worked or not until the next month bill reach.
2) from 12.11.2009 to 15.11.2009 for which he receive payment in advance.
So find out exactly what was your pay bill period when you quit railways.

I was working in Railways in Operating department. After tendering technical resignation I joined Central Excise Department. I was relieved on 12.11.2009.
In Railways, salary is paid on the basis of master roll submitted form the station .If some one joines Railway on 08 th day of any month and the wage period is from 08th day of any month to 07th day of next month then he will get his first salary next month only.My wage period was 08th day of any month to 07th day of next month. On the pay slip, always the name of the month in which I was receiving salary, was appearing .I was getting salary on 13th of every month.I got my last salary on 13.11.2009 and on the pay slip it was written " pay slip for October 2009".. For the wage period 08.10.2009 to 07.11.2009 and from 08.11.2009 to 12.11.2009 I have not received any salary.When I enquired about my salary for the above said period, railway authorities replied that employees are getting advance salary and you have already been paid salary for 08.10.2009 to 07.11.2009 and for 5 days i.e.from 08.11.2009 to 12.11.2009 they asked central excise to pay the salary in the L.P.C. communicated to central excise. Central excise department says that they cannot pay salary due to any other department.

When I joined Railway, I got my first salary for the number of days actually I worked and that too after completion of Wag period. Then where is the question of advance salary.
If you know the practice adopted by Howrah Division, please guide me .
What about the salary for the period from 08.011.2009 to 12.11.2009 ? Can Railway ask Central Excise to pay the salary for this period and whther Central Excise Department is bound to pay this salary as per instruction ? If not ,then what should I do ?
I hav not received Bonus from the Railway for the Financial year 2009-10 in proportion to my service period.

Ajayji, Transfer rules are same for all railway employees. You can apply for mutual transfer if there is a willing employee in the division you want in your cadre.

Innitially I was appointed as a khalasi in chakradharpur div. in the PSI/TRD//RKSN depotin the year 1999 . We are appointed as electrical khalasi but after that there was a rly. board circular that after 3 years we are promoted as tech-iii as skiled artisan.Some of our colliges are promoted in other departments in 2001. but we are not get yet. In 2001 I got mutual transfer with a khalasi/helper in the department electric loco shed , Bondamunda that time I am also was a khalasi/helper at PSI/TRD/RKSN . at that time My siniority was in no-1 positition and my oppsition is in no-1 position. so I want to know weather we got our siniority in vice versa manner or not, if yes after how many year of mutual transfer.
