working as a ECRC in comm. deptt. want to change category, what is process to change category
date of appointment is 21-06-2011 and which deppt we can apply for that,,,

Appear for GDCE as and when they call for it. As you are ECRC I suppose you have a degree and as such you can appear for any railway job which require Degree like ASM, Commercial Apprentice etc.

Not permitted unless you have some medical problem to do your current job.

Change of category is not permitted. You have to write GDCE for JE s& t if called.

I joined on 2007 as Technician III, I have disability by an accident 5 years before joining Railways.Before I am entering service, I had undergone the detailed medical examination by the railway and they found, I am fit for duty. Now I am suffering some difficulty with the disablement for the current working nature. And I appear medical board of State Government and got 40% Locomotor disability certificate. Can I change my current category by producing this disability certificate ? If so, what I have to do for the same ??? Please advice me .

Sir, At present i am working as a SIM/Gr.II but now i want to change my category to reservation clerk or any other clerical job. I am graduate in commerce back ground. Change of Category is simply not possible.
I am working in SER as a Tracman. I was a blood bank technician in IAF . I have MLT certificate from AFMC Pune. Is there any possibility to change my cader in medical depertment ?
