As per 6th central pay comission there was an option that if any employee wants to get pay comissional benifit not from 01-01-2006 but from 01-07-2007 then he must submit that proper option form.Is my office (Eastern Railway ) is bound to cerculate this order properly. If so then i want to know that particular establishment rule.

The option was either to draw it from 1-1-2006 or from the date of next increment . The option should have exercised within 3 months of Date of order , ie, 4 sep 2008. If no option submitted upto 4 Dec 2008, the employee is deemed to select new Scales.

I Abdul 21yrs old want to ask you some question i want to join as a TC in railway but my problem is I got 45% in SSC board , 47% in HSC board , and 56.19% in my graduation.When I saw the eligibility for TC on RRB Mumbai site it says that candidate should have 50% marks in SSC (10th std)which I don't have will I be eligible for a TC job in future.

I Sri Krishna Kanta Paul,Cabin Master Under TI(M)Durgapur at Asansol Division .Only One Grade in Post of Cabin Master.There are no 2nd Grade in the post of Cabin Master.I am Gating Grade Pay RS:-2800/- In Scale 5200/- To 20200/- .I was initially appointed as a porter in the year ,31/07/1986 and First Promoted in the year 1991 as Cabin Man-II and next 2nd promoted to Cabin Master Sep 1999 . So I Got Two promotion only.
But some are being junior to me in my cadre had been awarded grade pay from 2400/- to 4200/- order of CPO/ER,s SL No.102/2009.Grant of financial up-gradation under M A C P scheme.
1.sri A K Mukharjee.Cabin Master.Panagarh at 25/10/2002.Not 10 years completed same post.
2.sri G C Banerjee .Cabin Master.Rajbandh at 10/03/2004.Not 10 years completed same post.
and approval by Sr, DPO/ER/ASN on 20/06/2012.
I can not under stand being senior to above 2 person as said in why.

Cabin Master or ASM are same work at the train passing duty on the panel cabin in Asansol division but cabin master post is not highlight ,so cabin master are looser of salary and grade pay.
but cabin master work is batter then ASM of train passing duty .

I joined as ASm 4500-7000 along with 17 Boys in my batch on 4/2000.
Me and one of them qualified and selected after open exam for the post of AYM in 5000-8000 in OCT 2001 but given promotion in 5000-8000 in 11/2002 and basic fixed 5000/-.
Rest of 16 ASM of my batch got promotion in 5000-8000 in 3/2003 and basic fixed Rs 5150 and because of joining date 4/2000 they got increment in 4/2003 and basic fixed 5300 i.e one increment up from me.
In 2007 Cadre of ASM, YM ,TI merged but still they were getting basic one increment up from me.
After two years in 7/2009 i were declared medically unfit and de categorized and appointed in ministerial cadre.
Now i came to know abt NBR.
Please guide that can i appeal to refix my basic with my juniors since 4/2003. I got promotion in 5000-8000 before them and even after got promotion through open competition i were paid less pay.
Also we were put on panal of AYM before completing our two year service in one grade and were promoted after two year 5 months::: was it right .

Promotion effected on 11/2002 instead of 4/2002.

Once you opted for YM cadre
Once you opted for YM cadre you are in a separate cadre. The fact of merging it again wont change that fact. Hence under the existing rules in this case it may not be possible for you to get the higher fixation.

I am working in the RPF department as head constable.
I was punished for a period of 6 months. Before punishment, my grade pay was 2400/- and my pay in pay band was 9460/-
I got punishment in reduction in rank from Head Constable to Constable and during punishment i was given pay of 5200/- with grade pay 2000/-
My question is that does reduction in grade pay also causes reduction in pay in pay band?
It is given that employee with grade pay of 2000/- will get a minimum pay of 6460/- . So can it be reduced to 5200/- also??
If it can be done , please provide the letter number of clarification of punishment of reduction in pay with reduction in grade pay.
