I want to know weather I am eligible to get my Promotional Increment along with Annual Increment which was due before 6PC applied.
Now acceded the matter Grant Annual Increment in NAC meeting held on 05-01-2012 for those who's Increment month falling between February’06 to June’06 w.e.f. 01.01.2006.
My matter explanation as under:
I was promoted as JE-I (5500-175-9000) as on November 2005 and till that time my increment month was April and that time I was given option for taking my both increment along with i.e. Regular and Promotional Increment.
In 5PC I got my both increment in month of April.
At the time of promotion my basic pay was 6375.
But after promoted as JE-1 I got both increments so that my basic pay fixed as on April 2006 as follows:
6375+175 (Increment due after promotion) = 6550
6550+175 (Regular Increment) = 6725
After that till 6PC applied my increment month was April and I got my all increments on that month only.
But in 2008 the Sixth Pay Commission came and there is provision to fix pay according to basic pay as on 01-01-2006 and increment month fixed on July.
So my pay fixed according to my old basic pay i.e. 6375 as on 01.01.2006.
By which I was lost my Promotional Increment Which I was got in 5PC along with Regular Increment in month of April 2006.
When I came to know about such huge loss in my pay fixation then I was made approach to my Head Office but no result came and I also reached to Zonal Head Office, New Delhi there I came to know that there was time given for removing such problem but till that time duration of such provision was gone.
Right now I am in Last Year of my service i.e. I would retire on 31-01-2013. By above problem I would face huge loss in my Pension as well as my Retirement Encashment.
But now Grant Annual Increment in NAC meeting I see some hopes to solve my problem.
I want to know whether I will be eligible to avail my Promotional Increment along with Annual Increment which was due in April 2006 or I will get only one increment i.e. Annual Increment.
Here I am very passionately waiting for reply of my query.
Thanks
