1. In reference to the recommendations of the VIth Central Pay Commission on the above subject, the President is pleased to sanction enhancement of existing rates of the following allowances to the Nursing Personnel of all categories at all levels, working in Railway Hospitals and registered under the Indian Nursing Council Act, as detailed below:

2. The rates of these allowances will be increased by 25% whenever the Dearness Allowance payable on the revised pay structure goes up by 50%.
3. The revised rates will be effective from September 01, 2008.
This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
