Health Officer Ref:- Board’s notification number 99/E(GRR)/1/2 dated 20/11/2007 notifying Recruitment Rules for promotion to Group ‘B’ posts of Asstt. Health Education Officer, Asstt. Pharmacy Officer & Asstt. Health Officer
In pursuance to the implementation of the recommendation of the 6th Central Pay Commission and consequent upon revision of designation of Group ‘C’ categories where pre-revised pay scales (as per 5th CPC) have been merged and granted common replacement pay structure/higher grade pay, it has now been decided by the Board that eligibility conditions for promotion to Group ‘B’ posts of Asstt. Health Education Officer, Asstt. Pharmacy Officer & Asstt. Health Officer in the Medical Department may be modified (so far as pay scale is concerned) as under:
i) Asstt. Health Education Officer:
Sr. District Extension Educators in the Pay structure of Pay Band PB-2 with GP of Rs. 4600 with 2 years of regular service in the grade.
ii) Asstt. Pharmacy Officer:
Chief Pharmacist in the Pay structure of Pay Band PB-2 with GP of Rs. 4600 with 2 years of regular service in the grade.
iii) Asstt. Health Officer:
Health & Malaria Inspector Grade I in the pay structure of Pay Band PB-2 with GP of Rs. 4600 with 2 years of regular service in the grade.
2. There is no change in the other conditions as laid down in terms of the aforementioned Recruitment Rules for these posts. The above instructions will be effective from the date of issue of this letter.
