Induction of Group B officers R.D.S.O in the respective departments of organized services on Indian Railways

In compliance of Central Administrative Tribunal, Lucknow Bench’s order dated 16.3.2009 in O.A. No. 45 of 2005 regarding induction of Group ‘B’ officers of R.D.S.O. into Group ‘A’/Jr. Scale of organized services, it has been decided by the Railway Board to encadre the Group ‘B’ officers of Personnel, Traffic, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and S&T departments of R.D.S.O in the respective Group ‘B’ services of Indian Railways from 1.1.2004 onwards. They would be governed by the Recruitment Rules of the organized services of the respective departments, as applicable to the officers of the Zonal Railways, while inducting them into Group ‘A’/Jr. Scale of the respective organized services from the vacancy year 2004-05 onwards and for further advancement in service, as due.
