In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the President is pleased to direct that Rule 1603 of Indian Railway Establishment Code, Vol.II/1990, First Reprint, may be amended as in the enclosed Advance Correction Slip No.52.

In Rule 1603 of R-II First Reprint, 1990 the following para (2) may be added below para (1):-

 

“2.       Non-Practicing Allowance will be reckoned as Basic Pay for computing TA/DA entitlements including Composite Transfer Grant”.
