Dear Sir,

I work in Electrical department as Tech-II (GP=2400).

I go through exam for Junior Engineer (Elect.) (GP=4200) as per 25% LDCE quota in month August-12.

Further my result of promotion as Tech-I (GP=2800) based on seniority and suitability was declared in Sept-12, but posting orders was not issued.

After  that result of 25% LDCE quota for JE declared and training for App. JE started from 15-Oct-12.

Last year I got cardiac attack when I was shunter with grade pay 2400/- after that A-3 fitness given. What kind of job admin. should provide me, How seniority counted and the pass facility of green pass may be withdrawn. kindly guide me.

1) how fast can an alp become lp(g)? is there any exams to become lp directly from alp/sr.alp ?

2) when i can become sr.alp?

3) what will be the typical salary of sr.alp and lp(g)?

4) what is the job nature of the crew/power controller? salary?

5) how to become mmts(local) train driver? any way from alp/lp? salary ? working hours?

** i am waiting for final results of alp 01/2011....

          my dad was a spl/trackman. he was called for promotional quota for supervisor post A-3 medical.my dad cleared written test and in medical test he was decateriosed/unfit as he had LV functioning 30% but the doctor wrote a report like he is fit for A-3 sedentary duties only..is there any scope for getting promotion...dont mind sir my dad was serving indian railways for the past 33 years and he had 7 years service remaining..please suggest me any scope of getting promotion...please ...

A person working in a field office is promoted by the head office on a day which has been declared as holiday in the field office(for eg on 29/8/12 onam holiday). If on the next day person comes on duty and assumes the higher charge, his promotion date will be 30/8/12 and the promotion of the individual will be delayed by one day. Is there any rule that the promotion date of the person does not get affected, as it is not his fault?

Y was promoted to the grade pay of 4200 w.e.f. 14/11/2005, who has opted to fix his pay from the date of next increment 1/4/2006. After implementation of 6th CPC, he has revised his option for the promotion by fixing his pay from the date of promotion itself with dni on 1/11/06. His pay was brought to 6th CPC from 1/1/06 onwards. Now as per GoI orders dated 19/3/12, Y is claiming to reopen his promotion case and he be granted the additional increment as on 1/1/06 as his increment in the pre-revised 5th CPC fell on 1/4/06.

X working as UDC(GP 2400) has been given MACP w.e.f. 20/9/11. On MACP his pay has been fixed as 10200 + 2800. Subsequently he gets promotion to Office Superintendent w.e.f. 1/4/12 in the grade pay 4200. On promotion, only the difference of grade pay is granted. kindly intimate whether the individual is eligible for an increment in 1/7/12 in the new grade pay. if not, whether the individual is eligible to get an increment in the old grade pay as he has completed 6 months in the the GP 2800.

Dear Sir,

I am selected as JE from RRB, My training is going to be completed in next month. At the same time , approx. 26 intermediate JE has completed their training and joined the JE post in our workshop . Now what would be promotion criteria.

I want to know that in promotion there would be a different seniority list of Direct RRB recruiters (J.E.)and  Intermediate promote J.E.  or they will be promoted earlier then RRB recruiters.
