Cashless treatment for RELHS Holder in Recognized Private Hospitals in emergency

  • A cashless service for RELHS card holders to take treatment in recognized private hospitals of National Capital Region is introduced by Northern Railway.
  • Under the scheme RELHS beneficiaries can take treatment in specified Recognised hospitals in cases of acute emergency.

In recognition of the commitment of the employees to the organisation and their contribution to increasing the productivity, Indian Railways paid the Productivity Linked Bonus equivalent to wages of 78 days for 2010-11.

Grievance Redressal machinery - Representations from Railway servants on service matters.

  • When Railway servant wish to seek redress of a grievance, he has to address the matter to his immediate official superior or the Head of his office or such other authority at the lowest level who is  competent to deal with the matter.
  • An appeal or representation to a higher authority must not be made unless the appropriate lower authority has already rejected the claim or refused relief or ignored or unduly delayed the disposal of the case.

School Card Pass to wards of the Railway employees

  • Issued to wards of Railway servants to enable them to travel between station near residence and station near to school or college based on certificate of school authorities.
  • Wards of retired/deceased Railway employees are eligible for School Card passes till the end of academic year in which retirement/death occurs.
